We have perfected the Statistical—Behavior Approach to Public Safety Selection. This is a process that utilizes clinical judgment and statistical data to increase predictions of success and develops training recommendations that facilitate growth and officer safety.

Post-Offer Services

Our Pre-employment psychological evaluation is a character-based process that measures job-specific behaviors, mental alertness, written expression, and medical psychological issues. The NCAPS is a comprehensive 19-page report that qualifies or un-qualifies a candidate for the department he or she is applying for at that time. It focuses on compatibility with the department based on the community’s culture. Verbal feedback is available within 48 hours. The written report is available within 10 working days.

Fitness for Duty Services

The Fitness-for-Duty Evaluation is used for personnel with emotional conflicts which could affect job performance. The evaluation involves two objective tests, a test of mental alertness, a self-inventory, an extensive clinical interview which includes a Mental Status Exam, and a review of all records about the situation whether departmental or medical. A comprehensive report will follow outlining a clear recommendation regarding duty fitness.

We also provide department consultations, routine fitness-for-duty evaluations, readiness-for-duty assessments, and critical incident debriefings. These packages are customized to the needs of the client and the environment. With the focus being on leadership and the needs of the client.
