Dr. Yi-Chien Hung received his PhD in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Walden University. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LP) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and his Master in Applied Psychology from Walden University. Special populations that he currently works with include first responders and full-time ministers.
He specializes in trauma treatment techniques and has been trained in modalities such as Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Brainspotting (BSP).
Dr. Hung provides career development coaching and leadership coaching and is certified in assessments such as CliftonStrengths (CS), Hogan Assessment Systems (HAS), Process Communication Model (PCM), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), 16 Personality Factors (16PF), Wagner Enneagram Personality Style Scales (WEPSS), Highlands Ability Battery (HAB), and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII).
Dr. Hung provides faith-based integration to services when requested. He is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor. He is currently in training to provide Spiritual Direction and pursuing a DMin in Spiritual Formation and Relational Neuroscience at Western Theological Seminary. He has an integration approach and perspective.
